Job Overview

Corriculo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our client's technical transformation journey.

The successful candidate will act as a bridge between design, mechanical, and technical teams, and the technology world, to understand needs and incorporate them into a clear software roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of talented software engineers to deliver against software projects
  • Strategically and proactively manage a complex software estate
  • Develop and maintain software and computational tools used across web and desktop applications
  • Focus on back-end/server-side development using Microsoft technologies (C#,.NET), distributed systems, HPC, Cloud computing, and technologies such as Kubernetes and Airflow

Requirements:

  • Solid background in software engineering with proven experience of leading and developing teams
  • Experience of working within smaller teams/companies requiring flexibility and agility
  • Experience gained from working within Engineering or other technical environments
  • Experience of championing cloud-native development and leading transformation and cloud migration projects
  • Breadth of technical experience encompassing technologies such as C#.NET, HPC, Kubernetes, Airflow, etc.
