We offer permanent roles ranging from 16 to 30 hours per week, as well as relief contracts for those seeking flexibility.

Position Overview

As a vital member of our enthusiastic and dedicated team, you will provide assistance to young individuals and adults with diverse support needs in their homes and communities. Each day presents new challenges and experiences.

In your role as a Community Support Specialist, you will aid individuals in various aspects of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication management, and financial oversight. We also encourage you to engage creatively with their interests, which may include activities such as music, arts and crafts, outdoor excursions, and cinema visits.

Candidate Profile

No prior experience in care or specific qualifications are necessary to begin your journey with us; we prioritize values and transferable skills. We will compensate you for your training and support your pursuit of an SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and cover your SSSC annual registration fees. However, a full, clean manual driving license is essential, as many individuals we support utilize their own mobility vehicles.

  • A valid manual driving license

Work Schedule

We recognize the importance of maintaining a healthy work/life balance and strive to accommodate your scheduling needs. Support services are typically provided from 10 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

Most shifts range from 3 to 6 hours, tailored to fit your preferences and the needs of those you will be assisting.

Additional Information

Successful applicants will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and commit to pursuing an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with guidance from our Training Academy. New team members must register with the SSSC within three months of commencing employment.
