Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and entrepreneurial Group Financial Controller to lead our financial operations across multiple geographies. As a key member of our Global Finance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring strong financial governance, driving best-in-class financial management and control processes, and providing technical ownership of GAAP and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including half-year and full-year financial accounts, providing complete confidence to investors and stakeholders.
  • Lead the external audit process, developing strong relationships with internal and external auditors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the global finance team, supporting them in maintaining strong controls, accurate reporting, and commercial finance/working capital management.
  • Prepare Group income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows for internal use, submission to investors and banks, including the impact of acquisitions.
  • Drive significant improvements in financial controls across the business.
  • Manage all external stakeholder relationships, including investors, banks, and other key stakeholders.

About You

We are seeking a highly experienced and charismatic ACA/ACCA qualified individual with a proven track record of working in a large matrix organisation. You will be a strong technical accountant with a proven ability to oversee the production of accurate monthly, half-year, and full-year management and financial accounts.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualification with significant experience in a large matrix organisation.
  • Proven track record of leading financial operations across multiple geographies.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with a focus on GAAP and tax compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
