Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the site, assets, and maximizing asset life and availability. Key duties and responsibilities include:

1. Performing scheduled Preventative Maintenance routines in line with documented procedures to reduce the potential for unplanned breakdowns of equipment.
2. Conducting Corrective Maintenance on equipment if it fails, minimizing the impact on production where possible.
3. Adopting a proactive approach to all works, planning, and preparing for all preventative or corrective tasks.
4. Conducting root cause analysis of unplanned outages/fault diagnosis on equipment and identifying and implementing actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Supporting the development and updating of maintenance procedures and documentation.
6. Ensuring the relevant management systems are kept up to date through accurate and timely input of data.
7. Providing timely and accurate feedback to customers and line management on the status of all ongoing tasks.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

1. Degree-qualified in a relevant field.
2. NVQ Level 3 – Electrical.
3. 18th Edition Regulations certification.
4. Programming skills for PLCs (Siemens S7 series, Mitsubishi A, Q, Fx series).
5. Design experience for industrial machinery control systems.
6. Installation, commissioning, and maintenance experience for industrial machinery controls.
