About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometrist to join our team at our well-established practice in Burnham-on-Sea. As an Optometrist with Zest Business Group, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional eye care to our patients, utilizing some of the most advanced equipment available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough sight tests for patients, providing personalized care and attention to detail.
  • Work alongside an experienced Dispensing Optician to provide a comprehensive eye care service.
  • Utilize advanced equipment, including Optomap, OCT, Tonometer, and digital slitlamp, to diagnose and treat eye conditions.
  • Provide patients with a high level of clinical freedom, allowing them to decide how to manage their care and what lens or contact lenses to dispense.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays, with a focus on providing excellent patient care.
  • Participate in continuous training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in eye care.
  • Collaborate with other Optometrists, Trainers, and Professional services teams to provide a comprehensive eye care service.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
  • Ability to work as the sole Optometrist, with a focus on clinical excellence.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a focus on providing the best possible eye care.
  • Strong communication and patient engagement skills, with a focus on providing a personalized experience.
