About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) to join our team as a Deputy General Manager (Clinical) at one of our care homes in Skipton. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of exceptional care to residents, leading a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, including leading the clinical team and monitoring care standards.
  • Develop strategies to improve the quality of life for residents, including conducting regular audits and supervising clinical practice.
  • Ensure the care home meets all regulatory requirements, including managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
  • Support newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship program.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration.
  • Teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification.
  • Experience in managing residents with different health needs.
  • Successful track record of handling safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
  • Some HR experience.
