Position Overview
We are in search of a Project Manager to oversee the operational elements of the New Product Introduction (NPI) support activities within the broader Renishaw Group. This role entails managing the Manufacturing NPI functional teams to develop Manufacturing Strategies and conduct Gate Reviews as part of the New Product Development Process.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate the Manufacturing NPI teams' contributions to new product development within the Product Innovation Process.
- Oversee the collaborative efforts of various Manufacturing personnel and teams to ensure timely and efficient support for the divisional new product development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain Manufacturing activity plans and documentation, ensuring adherence to processes and best practices.
- Create product manufacturing strategies that align with the overall Manufacturing strategy, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Manage responses for Gate Reviews, ensuring input from functional areas and making recommendations regarding project readiness.
- Provide regular updates on Manufacturing project status, risks, and mitigation strategies, communicating effectively through written reports, discussions, and presentations.
- Assess the requirements for seconded resources and collaborate with divisional and Manufacturing teams to identify actions and solutions.

Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management.
- A degree in a STEM field (2:1 or above).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient IT skills.
- An engaged, enthusiastic, and motivated attitude.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career within a leading engineering company focused on high-tech, complex products and processes.
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacture/Assembly principles.
- Experience in manufacturing operations and processes.
- Background in a New Product Introduction environment.
