Job Title: Manufacturing Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Project Manager to join our team at Renishaw. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the NPI process, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product development and launch.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing activity plans and documentation, ensuring adherence to processes and good working practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create product manufacturing strategies, highlighting risk areas and proposing mitigations.
- Manage Gate Review responses, ensuring preparedness to project teams and communicating effectively through written reports, conversations, and presentations.
- Regularly report on project input status, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders, using a combination of written reports, conversations, and presentations.
- Manage seconded resource requirement reviews, identifying actions and mitigations in collaboration with divisional and manufacturing teams.
Requirements:
- Proven project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Degree qualified in a STEM subject (2:1 or above).
- Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to prioritize work effectively under pressure.
- Accomplished IT skills, with experience in project management tools and software.
- Engaged, enthusiastic, and motivated individual with a genuine interest in a career in a world-leading engineering company.
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacture/Assembly principles.
- Experience within manufacturing operations and processes.
- Experience in a New Product Introduction environment.
