Scenic Workshop Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scenic Workshop Manager to lead our scenic operations team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality scenic products on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the scenic workshop team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the construction and preparation of scenic elements, including reading and interpreting construction drawings and CAD plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain inventory and manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Provide input on construction design and material specifications, collaborating with the Head of Scenic for planning and resource management.
- Hands-on involvement in the construction of scenic products, demonstrating expertise in carpentry and scenic construction.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet overall business needs, assisting with project planning and resource allocation.
- Train and mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in scenic construction, with a strong background in carpentry and scenic operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and CAD plans, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and HSE regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Experience with CNC machines and 3D printing, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
