About the Role

The Programme and Project Specialist will play a key role in providing specialist support to programme and project managers at Capita. This includes promoting programme and project management methods and standards, and implementing best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operationalise and run the Acceptance into Service (AIS) process, ensuring all necessary activities are completed and the service delivered to the customer has rigor and quality built in from the outset.
  • Continuously improve Capita's network Supplier Solution to ensure services and/or functions within the contract are being delivered, working with multiple Service Owners to validate and verify services, and putting in place mitigating actions to address non-compliant areas.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of account control procedures and tools tailored for access and WAN solutions in the transport industry.
  • Provide analytical support for account cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for change performance monitoring.
  • Participate in account planning and review meetings, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in account controls.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel, MS Project, and SharePoint skills.
  • Power BI knowledge desirable.
  • Strong communicator (written and oral).
  • Independent thinker who can take initiative.
  • Experience working on WAN/LAN projects is helpful.
