Commercial Gas Engineer Opportunity

Liberty, a specialist heating services provider, is seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will work on the Havebury contract, providing 40 hours of service per week.

The role offers a competitive salary of £43k to £45k per annum, plus a company van, fuel, and benefits. Liberty is an experienced provider of gas installation, maintenance, and servicing, as well as energy solutions, electrical installations, and property building and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintenance, and breakdown of commercial gas and solid fuel heating systems.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Complete paperwork, including technical and situational reports.
  • Undertake all other maintenance works within remit.
  • Participate in out-of-hours works, including overtime and call-outs.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in commercial gas and heating.
  • Relevant commercial gas qualifications, including CODNCO1, COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT, and applicable domestic qualifications.
  • Local authority or social housing experience with knowledge of various commercial and domestic appliances and installations.
  • Comprehensive technical skills and extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification.
  • Good all-round knowledge of heating systems with controls/BMS knowledge desirable.
  • Full driving license.
  • Company van and fuel card.
