Liberty Opportunity for Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team on the Havebury contract in a full-time permanent position.

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week and receive a competitive salary of £43k to £45k per annum, plus a company van, fuel, and benefits.

As a leading specialist heating services provider to public, domestic, and commercial clients across the UK, we offer a range of services including gas installation, maintenance, and servicing, as well as energy solutions and electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintenance, and breakdown of commercial gas and solid fuel heating systems.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Complete paperwork, including production of technical and situational reports.
  • Undertake all other maintenance works within remit.
  • Participate in out-of-hours works, including overtime and call-outs.
Requirements:
  • A solid background in commercial gas and heating.
  • Relevant commercial gas qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
  • Local authority/social housing experience with knowledge of various commercial/domestic appliances and installations.
  • Comprehensive technical skills and extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of domestic and commercial heating systems, including controls and BMS knowledge.
  • A full driving license.
  • Company van and fuel card.
