About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Surveyor to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance surveyors, monitoring works progress, and ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and safe for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of maintenance surveyors to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
  • Monitor works progress and ensure that all maintenance activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with external contractors to ensure that our properties are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and safe for our customers.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with our health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage the recruitment, performance, and development of quality staff to ensure that our team has the skills and expertise needed to deliver excellent maintenance services.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our maintenance services are delivered to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Building-related degree or relevant professional qualification.
  • Proven experience of undertaking a similar role within a building and surveying environment.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations, legislation, and current practice.
  • Ability to extract and interpret computerized information and documentation.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft packages.
  • Full valid UK driving license.
