About the Role

The Pastoral/Site Manager will play a vital role in supporting students and working closely with the pastoral team to ensure the wellbeing and progress of our pupils. This includes tracking and monitoring student progress, identifying strategies to overcome individual barriers to learning, and coordinating the development of individual support plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade C in English and Maths
  • Continuing and relevant professional development in school
  • Up to 3 years in working in SEND setting
  • Good listening skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the barriers to learning that pupils may face

Meadowcroft is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 5 to 19, catering for pupils with a wide range of needs in 4 sites across Wakefield.
