As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals with physical and cognitive impairments resulting from brain injury or other progressive neurological conditions.

About the Role

This part-time position (2 days per week) offers a unique opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the growth and development of our services. You will be responsible for leading the multidisciplinary team in the care and treatment of our patients, including weekly reviews, and providing input for spasticity and bowel/bladder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the multidisciplinary team in the care and treatment of patients
  • Provide input for spasticity and bowel/bladder management
  • Attend family meetings, case review meetings, and discharge planning meetings as required
  • Practice evidence-based care through national standards and guidelines
  • Supervise junior doctors
  • Participate in external reviews and liaison with local commissioners

Requirements

  • MRCP (required)
  • CCT (or equivalent) in Rehabilitation Medicine (preferred)
  • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings treating neurological or brain injury patients (desirable)
