Active Care Group is seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist to join our team at the Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre.

This part-time position, requiring 15 hours of work per week, offers a unique opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team in the care and treatment of patients with neurological or brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the multidisciplinary team in assessments for admissions to the service within partner acute hospitals.
  • Provide input for Spasticity and Bowel / Bladder Management.
  • Attend family meetings, case review meetings, and discharge planning meetings as required.
  • Practise evidence-based care through national standards and guidelines.
  • Supervise junior doctors and participate in external reviews.

Requirements:

  • MRCP (Required)
  • CCT (or equivalent) in Rehabilitation Medicine (preferred)
  • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings treating neurological or brain injuries (Desirable)
