We are seeking an experienced and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a special school for young people with SEMH. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children and young people who cannot access mainstream education due to their social, emotional and mental health.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students with SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans
- Assist with the delivery of vocational BTCE courses
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall well-being of the school
- Experience working with young people with SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
