Job Overview

Position: Factory Technical Manager

Industry: Food Production

Location: South Lincolnshire

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

The primary focus of this role is to ensure the effective implementation and ongoing maintenance of Technical Standards within site operations. This includes a strong emphasis on Food Safety, Product Quality, and Integrity through efficient communication, thorough auditing, and the promotion of an 'Audit Ready' culture.

The responsibilities of this position encompass:

  • Leading the technical team to uphold high standards.
  • Managing quality management systems to ensure compliance.
  • Supporting technical audits and assessments.
  • Fostering a culture of quality assurance throughout the organization.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and legal requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree related to food science, have experience in a chilled food production environment, and demonstrate strong communication and leadership capabilities. A thorough understanding of managing food safety risks is essential. We seek a logical, detail-oriented, and resilient individual who can effectively analyze and resolve root causes.
