About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Homelessness Ancillary Officer. As a key member of our Homelessness Team, you will play a vital role in preventing homelessness across the district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accommodation Sourcing: Assist the team in sourcing and securing accommodation for clients in the private sector.
  • Client Support: Provide effective support to clients in securing accommodation, using your initiative to resolve cases where possible.
  • Relationship Building: Create, build, and maintain relationships with landlords and partner agencies to source accommodation for clients.
  • Case Management: Gather information on clients' housing situations, record it, and determine next steps to secure accommodation.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: £26,980 - £35,030 per annum
  • Flexible Working: 24-27 days leave (plus an additional week's equivalent after 5 years' service)
