As a Pricing Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and refining sophisticated pricing models that incorporate both traditional techniques and data science methodologies
  • Tracking pricing performance through automated reporting systems
  • Facilitating growth within Motor and Home insurance portfolios

Your analytical insights and strategic recommendations will be pivotal in enhancing product offerings and pricing strategies, thereby providing Vermelo RPO with a significant edge in the competitive insurance market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation of pricing models utilizing data science approaches
  • Augment the application of data science in pricing and underwriting processes
  • Effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders to support informed decision-making
  • Evaluate the performance of major accounts
  • Collaborate with pricing, underwriting, and data science teams
  • Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency
  • Employ specialized software to monitor market trends and evaluate pricing proposals

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in statistical and data science programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL
  • A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Actuarial Science
  • Familiarity with WTW's Radar software is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting analytical results
  • Capability to analyze and interpret data from diverse sources
