About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Horizon Care & Education. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and care leavers to live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide practical and emotional support to young people to help them develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently.
  • Work closely with young people to identify their goals and develop a personalized support plan to help them achieve their aspirations.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances, to help young people develop their independence.
  • Provide support and guidance to young people to help them access education, employment, and training opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers and teachers, to ensure young people receive comprehensive support.
