We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Estimator Assistant to join our team at STRABAG SE. As a key member of our estimating team, you will play a crucial role in producing accurate and competitive bids for our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the estimating team in preparing project estimates and tenders by gathering and analyzing data, conducting site visits, and reviewing technical documentation.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our company's estimating processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project estimates.
  • Prepare and present project estimates and tenders to clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in estimating or a related field, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
