Job Overview
Mitie is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our Total Security Management Team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers' property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with our published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
Main Responsibilities
- To ensure the safety and security of our customers' premises by conducting regular patrols, monitoring CCTV systems, and responding to incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- To maintain a high level of customer service by being approachable, courteous, and respectful to all individuals, including customers, employees, and visitors.
- To work collaboratively with other security personnel and stakeholders to achieve our security objectives and maintain a safe and secure environment.
- To stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices by attending training sessions and workshops, and by participating in regular team meetings and discussions.
- To maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, including reporting and documenting all incidents in accordance with our policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous security experience, preferably in a retail or commercial setting.
- SIA License (Security Industry Authority) and Frontline Door Supervision or Security Guarding License essential.
- CCTV Licence would be beneficial.
- A Full UK Driving licence would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
