Security Officer

Are you committed to safeguarding people and property? As a Security Officer with Securitas Security Services, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe environment for everyone. Your vigilance and dedication will help prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site, ensuring the safeguarding of premises and adherence to health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate
- Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Issue visitor/contractor passes, deal with lost property, and maintain all logbooks and records in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
- Provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises
- Interact with others in a supportive way and in accordance with our Core Values
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- SIA licence
- Driving licence
- RTW and 5yr checkable history
- 2-5 years experience as a Security Officer
- Highest quality personal appearance
- Flexible, professional, and adept at working under pressure
- Outstanding written, verbal, and oral communication skills
- Customer-oriented with a passion for high-level service
- Polite and proactive
- Able to use initiative and highly adaptable
- IT literate
