Job Description

Job Title: Building Surveyor - Project Development Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum + benefits + leading bonus

About the Role:

We are currently working closely with a leading pan-European industrial / logistics investor, developer and manager with a £1+ billion asset portfolio. As they continue to deploy capital in the acquisitions of green and brown field sites in addition to the redevelopment and management of their existing portfolio, they are looking for a project biased Building Surveyor to join their Birmingham office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver asset enhancements, PPM and CAPEX projects valued between £100,000 and c. £4 million
  • Oversee the external consultant teams providing professional building surveying services such as dilapidations
  • Manage and implement future efficiencies through project work
  • Work closely with the property / asset management teams to understand the building data
  • Report into the Technical Director in a very client / customer facing position

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified with a Degree in Building Surveying
  • Solid experience working across the RIBA 3 – 6 stages across a variety of new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects
  • Sector experience of industrial / logistics advantageous but they are open to people with a good mix of office, retail, leisure etc.
