We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at Platform Property Care, a well-established property maintenance business within the Platform Housing Group. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining the green spaces within our estates and communities in south Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the quality and appearance of green areas, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, and shrub pruning.
- Operate tractors and pedestrian equipment to ensure efficient and effective maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve high standards of grounds maintenance.
- Contribute to the overall success of the team by providing excellent customer service and adhering to health and safety protocols.
- A competitive basic salary of £25,530 per annum.
- A permanent contract with opportunities for career development.
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 paid bank holidays.

- A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
- Relevant grounds maintenance, gardening, or horticultural skills, experience, or qualifications.

The working pattern for this role is a permanent annualised contract, with a summer schedule of 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and a winter schedule of 32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
