Job Title: Quarry Labourer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quarry Labourer to join our team at Husbands Bosworth site. As a Quarry Labourer, you will be responsible for operating plant and machinery to assist with the retrieval of minerals and profiling of ground to the required level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily/weekly maintenance checks of mobile and fixed plant to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Perform daily/weekly maintenance tasks on mobile and fixed plant, including greasing and keeping equipment clean.
• Report any defects or issues to site management or workshop using the R2C app.
• Dispatch and control the quality of product.
• Operate plant GPS to alter ground to the required levels.
• Carry out other duties as requested by a supervisor or manager.
• Accurately record working hours on timesheets and submit on a weekly basis.
• Log all production data, plant stoppages, breakdowns, and other relevant information correctly.
• Inform quarry management of any materials deemed unsuitable for production.
• Understand company procedures for breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Highlight training requirements to line management, especially for legislative minimum requirements.
• Conduct yourself in a safe and professional manner at all times.

Requirements:

• A full UK driving license.
• Experience on Dozer, 360 Excavator, or Dump Truck (5 years experience).
• A hard working nature.
• Experience with GPS (machine control).
