Role Overview

The Priory Hospital – Altrincham is a key facility within the Priory Group, a prominent provider of specialized mental health treatment. The hospital is recognized for delivering exceptional care standards alongside a diverse array of clinical services. It accommodates both inpatient and outpatient programs.

We are currently seeking a Lead Clinical Psychologist to oversee our inpatient CAMHS Eating Disorder Service at Altrincham Priory Hospital.

As a primary provider to the NHS in the North of England, our focus is on achieving positive holistic outcomes through comprehensive service delivery.

The successful applicant will become a vital member of a dynamic therapy team dedicated to evidence-based practices, supervision, and professional growth opportunities. The role involves participating in clinical meetings and care planning for service users, as well as providing clinical guidance and expertise to the broader therapy team.

Candidates must be registered with the HCPC and possess a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. They should demonstrate the necessary psychological leadership, clinical acumen, and consultation skills to deliver an exceptional psychology service to both service users and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Engaging in service development initiatives, including utilizing service user feedback and in-house training
