Job Overview
Hays Travel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreign Exchange Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our foreign exchange bureau, you will be responsible for ensuring the profitability of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the profitability of the foreign exchange bureau through effective management of sales, customer service, and operational processes.
- Meet or exceed foreign exchange targets, including set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Convert Hays Travel customers to purchase foreign exchange services.
- Maximize individual and team sales of foreign exchange.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the bureau, including managing stock levels of foreign currency and ensuring accurate cash reconciliation and banking.
- Monitor local competition and manage rates and margins effectively on a daily basis.
- Play an active role in the day-to-day operation of the branch and support Travel colleagues with administrative duties.
- Responsibility for the security of the bureau.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety.
- Treat all employees, customers, and suppliers with dignity and respect.
