About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to join our EMEA transfer pricing team in London or Luxembourg. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Amazon's related party transactions for its core Stores businesses within EMEA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning: Business partnering, supporting business launches and restructurings, developing new tax policies, financial modeling, and business/asset valuations.
  • Implementation and Controllership: Supporting the implementation of new tax policies, preparation and review of inter-company agreements, monitoring tax outcomes compared to policy.
  • Compliance: Contributing to and reviewing tax documentation, benchmarking, and other regulatory filings.

The role also involves providing ad hoc support to stakeholders engaged in planning, controversy, and compliance-related activities, contributing to the development of process improvement initiatives, and managing and working with outside advisors.

About the Team

Amazon's transfer pricing group is an integral part of the global tax function, working closely with business and other tax stakeholders. The EMEA transfer pricing team is primarily located in the UK and Luxembourg.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and tax law.
  • Ability to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership of projects.
