About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to join our team at BGC Group. As a key member of our Tax Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with transfer pricing regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transfer Pricing Support
    • Act as a subject matter expert on transfer pricing matters
    • Define transfer price mechanisms for all intercompany transactions
    • Ensure arm's length standard and timely compliance
    • Prepare and maintain an intercompany matrix for all transactions
    • Analyze business flows and develop supportable pricing methodologies
    • Support tax compliance process on Master and Local files
    • Review and support intercompany agreements
    • Partner with business leaders, finance, treasury, legal, and other teams on business and tax planning issues
    • Prepare and review valuations and economic and financial analysis from a transfer pricing perspective
  • Pillar
    • Stay up-to-date with the ever-changing global transfer pricing environment
    • Manage quarterly reporting needs to work with tax and finance teams to predict provisions to be booked each quarter
    • Work with global tax team and local finance teams to implement solutions as required
  • Country by Country Reporting
    • Work closely with US tax team to ensure CbCR reports meet Pillar tests
    • Ensure ETR safe harbour in Pillar can be relied upon
  • UK and other formal documentation requirements
    • Build local documentation to meet tax law requirements in each country
    • Identify gaps and analyze flows and document as required
  • Transfer Pricing Audit Support
    • Work with local finance teams to develop support/defense for local transfer pricing audits
    • Identify key risks before audits commence to develop required defense strategies
  • Tax Planning and M&A Support
    • Provide transfer pricing input on M&A deals, internal restructuring projects, modeling exercises, and general advisory projects
    • Evaluate and analyze tax law changes (OECD BEPS proposals)
  • Transfer Pricing Policy
    • Work with Group head of Tax, EMEA and APAC Head of Tax, and key Finance professionals to identify transfer pricing risks and develop strategies and solutions
    • Develop and maintain transfer pricing policy covering intra-group IP, services, revenue shares, cross-border front office transactions, funding, and financing transactions
    • Stay up-to-date with TP developments and apply changes to TP policy as required
