Job Description
  • To provide operational HR support to the management team, offering advice on recruitment, contracts, employee relations, training, and performance management.
  • Manage employee relations, including mediation, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Advise on HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with current legislation, and monitor, review, and update policies as necessary.
  • Support management in controlling and managing absence, overtime, and holidays, analyzing data to identify trends and implement practices to minimize negative impacts on the business.
  • Promote best HR practice by challenging, directing, supporting, and influencing others within the organization.
  • Complete HR Monthly Reports for each business, including employee numbers, vacancies, absence information, and hourly paid hours worked.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
  • Undertake HR projects as required.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant

The successful HR Advisor will possess:

  • Previous experience in a HR Advisory role, preferably within a manufacturing/logistics/supply chain environment.
  • Proven experience in a similar HR role within the logistics distribution and supply chain industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Good time management and planning skills.
