Performing Arts Graduate Support Assistant

Employment Type: Full-time, 5 days per week

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

Are you a graduate in Performing Arts eager to embark on a career in educational settings? Teach Plus is collaborating with a nurturing primary school seeking a dedicated Performing Arts Graduate to join their team as a Support Assistant in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and/or Key Stage 1 (KS1).


Role Overview:
The primary responsibility will be to assist class educators in the daily operations of the classroom, including the planning of engaging activities and providing support to students with additional needs as necessary.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Performing Arts Graduate Support Assistant, you will be expected to:
1. Follow the guidance of the class educator in supporting students both within and outside the classroom environment.
2. Implement activity plans and intervention sessions as directed by the class educator, particularly those related to Performing Arts.
3. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, educators, and other staff members throughout the institution.
4. Ensure a supportive and secure atmosphere for students by adopting a warm and nurturing demeanor.
5. Assist the class educator in the preparation of activities and resources for the classroom.


Ideal Candidate Profile:
The perfect candidate for the Performing Arts Graduate Support Assistant position will possess:
1. A genuine enthusiasm for working with children, particularly in the realm of Performing Arts.
2. A relevant qualification in Performing Arts is preferred.
3. The capability to establish rapport with students and respond positively to the direction provided by the class educator.
4. The right to work full-time in the UK.


Additional Requirements:
Enhanced DBS Certificate.
