Job Title: Art and Design Teacher

Location: Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham

Pay Rate: £140 - £240

The Role:

As an Art and Design Teacher, you will be instrumental in delivering captivating and motivating lessons that spark students' creativity and imagination. Your responsibilities will include establishing a vibrant and supportive learning atmosphere that promotes artistic expression and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-quality art and design lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Employ diverse teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, offering constructive feedback to facilitate their artistic development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for the arts.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art and Design or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching art and design at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject expertise and a genuine passion for the arts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to inspire and motivate students to reach their highest potential.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
