About the Role

NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to improving population health and reducing inequalities. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to support the delivery of health and care intelligence to inform strategic commissioning in Leeds.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide information to ICB managerial and clinical staff to enable them to make key decisions on the provision and commissioning of services across Leeds.
  • Support the planning and development of systems that will enable monitoring of service performance, improvement, planned service change.
  • Support the delivery of short-, medium- and long-term objectives of the business.
  • Provide intelligence for performance management and other information required to support annual planning and commissioning processes.
Requirements
  • 3 years experience of using information systems.
  • Operational management of information systems.
  • Practical understanding of information systems from a user perspective.
  • Aware of the roles and aims of the ICB (Leeds) and Leeds City Council.
  • Have an understanding of the purpose of information systems used by health and social care commissioners.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Successfully working with senior managers.
  • Designing, developing and implementing information systems.
  • Developing in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Detailed comprehension of individual data items within systems used by ICBs.
