About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Daycase Unit Administrator to join our team at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Medical Daycase Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Medical Daycase Unit team, including maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring timely communication with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate patient bookings and appointments, ensuring that all necessary information is up to date and readily available.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a clean and tidy environment, reporting any incidents or accidents to senior staff.
  • Provide support with the collection and delivery of post, as well as photocopying and scanning documents as required.
  • Act as a point of contact for patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals, providing information and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new ways of working, prioritizing tasks and implementing changes as required.
