The Role

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Controller to join our team on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end booking, pricing, and quotations of manufactured shipments primarily through ocean freight across the globe.
  • Manage a vast network of over 600 suppliers/carriers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and carriers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Operations Manager to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in ocean freight management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
