About the Role

Citi is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Institutional Credit Management (ICM) underwriting effort for alternative asset management clients. As the Head of Alternatives ICM Underwriting, you will be responsible for managing a global team and overseeing the credit underwriting process for a diverse client base of hedge funds, private equity, and institutional family offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a global team of underwriters and analysts
  • Develop and implement credit underwriting standards and policies for alternative asset management clients
  • Conduct due diligence and credit reviews for new and existing clients
  • Manage counterparty credit risk and monitor portfolio performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies
  • Provide oversight and challenge for the business, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's risk appetite
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in financial services and risk management, with a focus on alternative asset management
  • Significant experience in people management and leadership
  • Strong knowledge of derivatives and structured lending
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
