Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) Assessor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ADOS-2 Assessor to join our dedicated team on a freelance locum basis. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from home while conducting Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough, standardized ADOS-2 assessments remotely to evaluate individuals for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Produce accurate and detailed anonymous reports following each assessment.
  • Ensure reports adhere to the highest standards of diagnostic clarity and confidentiality.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, etc.) to support comprehensive diagnostic processes.
  • Ensure all data, assessments, and reports are handled with strict confidentiality and in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Manage a caseload of 2 assessments per day, ensuring high-quality service delivery within agreed timelines.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid certification in administering and interpreting the ADOS-2 assessment.
  • Demonstrable experience conducting ADOS-2 assessments for children or adults.
  • Proven ability to write comprehensive and clear diagnostic reports.
  • Experience redacting or anonymising sensitive client information.
  • A background in psychology, psychiatry, or a related mental health profession.
  • Familiarity with using telehealth platforms or other virtual assessment tools.
  • Ability to navigate remote working environments effectively.
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
