Join Our Team:
We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to become part of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the technology within the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify health and safety best practices, ensuring compliance among team members.
  • Engage in hands-on work while demonstrating expert knowledge of all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Mentor and guide technicians during shifts.
  • Assist the line manager and oversee operations in their absence.
  • Ensure high equipment availability through effective troubleshooting and prioritization.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems across the EU network.
  • Foster positive working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Understand and apply Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics.
  • Manage contractor relationships effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex MHE environments.
  • Possess qualifications such as 5 GCSEs, NVQ Level 3, ONC/D, or equivalent in an Engineering-related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of PLC-based control systems.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for proactive maintenance planning.
  • Awareness of statutory compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication skills in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and influence team members.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience in managing multiple contractors.
  • Background in a multi-site operational environment.
  • Apprentice trained or holding HNC, HND, BSc, or BEng qualifications.
