Key Responsibilities- Provide effective leadership and management of the Neonatal Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, promoting collaboration and communication among staff, patients, and families.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, safety, and experience.
- Manage resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of staff, equipment, and facilities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and research projects to drive innovation and excellence.
- Current NMC registration and qualified in speciality (QIS).
- Substantial experience at Band 6, with evidence of good organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.
- Proven experience in change management, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
