Job Role:

Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Bristol, a CAT B local adult Male prison.

As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the prison environment, working closely with experienced and passionate colleagues to create a safe and nurturing environment.

Our team is committed to delivering exceptional facilities management services, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for providing a high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out cleaning tasks to a high standard, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a cleaning environment.
  • Knowledge of COSHH and relevant health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills.
