The Role

We're seeking a self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven individual to join our team as a Field Equity Release Specialist. As a key member of our team, you'll provide high-quality equity release advice to existing and prospective clients, promoting Age Partnership as the premier provider of quality advice within the parameters of the Financial Services Authority's rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional equity release advice in line with each client's individual objectives and circumstances.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive recommendation packs, including KFI's and in line with company best practice.
  • Meet targets and KPI's and promote Age Partnership as the UK's premier advisor in the field of equity release.
  • Adhere to documented processes and ensure that records are kept appropriately in line with the company's record-keeping and file quality requirements.
  • Always adhere to the principles of 'treating the customers fairly' and 'customer duty'.
  • Ensure that competence to provide advice is maintained and a programme of CPD is undertaken and documented.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when required by the business.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a self-starter with a proven ability and experience in Financial Services, having developed the breadth of relevant quality advice to meet a wide range of customer circumstances, ideally Equity Release products. You'll have a minimum of 12 months experience in an advisory role within the field of regulated financial services, and be committed to quality of service and advice; highly compliant. Excellent presentation skills and evidence of sustained success and compliant practice are also essential.

Qualifications

Financial services qualifications, such as Certificate in Financial Planning/Certificate in Mortgage Advice (or equivalent), Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice (CeMAP), Certificate in Equity Release (CF7 & ER1), or Certificate in Regulated Equity Release (CeRER), are required.
