The Opportunity

As Sephora continues to explore new heights and deepen our roots, we're seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in fostering a culture that champions growth, empowerment, and proactive employee engagement. Your expertise will help navigate complex HR challenges, while you also lead initiatives that support Sephora's ambitious expansion plans. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding and Supporting: Provide expert advice to managers to ensure leadership aligns with Sephora's high standards, and act as a go-to support for all employees, addressing HR concerns with care and precision.
  • Managing Employee Relations: Oversee employee relations cases with a balanced approach, offering direct intervention and managerial coaching, while streamlining administrative processes to enhance people management.
  • Enhancing Engagement and Culture: Collaborate with store leaders to boost employee engagement, drive internal communication strategies, and create welcoming, memorable induction experiences for new hires.
  • Ensuring Compliance and Operational Efficiency: Keep teams informed with up-to-date employment law resources, collaborate with Payroll Specialists for flawless payroll inputs, and maintain meticulous records to meet legal standards.
  • Supporting HR Operations: Assist Talent Acquisition with smooth administrative processes for new hires, and lead visa processes in partnership with legal teams to support retail-related mobility.

Our ideal candidate will also possess:

  • A solid foundation in all aspects of human resources within the retail sector.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent recognized credentials in Human Resources Management.
  • A proven track record of thriving in fast-paced commercial settings.
  • The ability to manage workloads against tight deadlines without compromising on accuracy or quality.
