Job Profile

Cast UK Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain & Logistics to join their team in Plymouth. In this challenging role, you will oversee the inbound supply chain and global delivery of products to various customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the purchasing, logistics, and warehouse team to ensure stock and budgetary optimisation.
  • Analyse supply chain functions and metrics to implement initiatives for performance improvement.
  • Develop and implement operational planning processes to achieve KPIs in collaboration with sales and production teams.
  • Manage global logistics functions, including strategic management of 3PL relationships, to improve process efficiency and service levels.
  • Drive supplier performance improvement to ensure quality meets and exceeds expectations.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements with existing and new suppliers, working closely with procurement to analyse data and prepare reports on raw material costs.
  • Optimise inventory management techniques to effectively manage working capital.
  • Ensure business compliance with relevant legislation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working at Head of Supply Chain level with a global supplier and customer base.
  • Demonstrable experience managing 3PLs, including scorecard management and performance improvement.
  • P&L management with strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent knowledge of MRP/ERP, with SAP being an advantage.
  • Data-driven mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
