Head of Supply Chain and Logistics

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Supply Chain and Logistics to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement to delivery, and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to drive business growth and improve efficiency.
  • Manage a team of logistics and procurement professionals to ensure seamless execution of supply chain operations.
  • Analyse supply chain metrics and implement initiatives to optimise performance and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure excellent service levels and quality of product.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and manage contracts to ensure best value for the business.
  • Drive improvement of inventory management techniques to effectively manage working capital.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working at Head of Supply Chain level, with a background of global supplier and customer base.
  • Demonstrable experience managing 3PL's, including scorecard management and improving performance.
  • P&L management with strong commercial acumen.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to problem solve effectively.
