Job Description:

This exciting role of IT Support Officer is a key position within our organization, responsible for delivering high-quality IT support services to our Dental Services department. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our Dental Services department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and resolve IT-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends, applying this expertise to improve our IT services.
  • Communicate effectively with users at all levels, providing clear guidance and support to ensure they get the most out of our IT systems.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree/HND or equivalent level.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or IT-related field.
  • Proven expertise in Hyper-V, Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, GPO, MS 365, SCCM, and WIN10 desktop environments.
  • Experience with current Microsoft Office applications and their delivery/support.
  • Strong understanding of networking topology and excellent customer-facing skills.
  • A clean UK driving license, as regular travel within NHS Highland is required.
