About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Data Scientist to join our team at The Future Project Ltd. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by overseeing data collection methods, warehousing, and pre-processing.
  • Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical methods to analyze and interpret data, and develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models to support internal projects.
  • Data Visualization: Create clear and informative visualizations to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work with domain experts, data analysts, product, and commercial teams to understand business needs and deliver data science solutions.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a commercial data scientist role with a focus area on drawing out intelligence, trends, and key themes from diverse data sets.
  • Education: A degree or equivalent qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
  • Skills: Expertise in data mining, machine learning, statistical modeling relevant to sales and marketing; experience in SQL, writing sophisticated queries and stored procedures, ideally within Snowflake; proficiency in Python and hands-on experience using relevant Python libraries for retrieving and transforming data; experience working with relevant Python ML libraries: ETL, ELT of data from multiple sources and formats into final data store, ideally using DBT; visualization and dashboard creation skills (preferably in Tableau).
