About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Credit Officer to join our team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of our credit team, you will be responsible for managing an active portfolio of counterparties in the Utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake independent credit assessments of proposals and develop recommendations for presentation to sanctioners.
  • Use external research to assess customer risk and identify potential areas of weakness.
  • Collaborate with originators, relationship managers, and product partners to shape credit proposals and maintain a balance of risk and reward.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and escalate emerging risks to senior management.
  • Partner with stakeholders to undertake sector reviews and identify potential areas of opportunity.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge and significant experience of corporate credit analysis, preferably in Regulated Utilities and Integrated Utilities.
  • Evidence of relevant credit experience assessing large corporates with a proven track record of consistent performance.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrable high levels of attention to detail, numeracy, and accuracy.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
