Conference Content Manager

Informa PLC is seeking an experienced Senior Conference Producer to lead the development and delivery of high-quality conference content for our global events.
About the RoleThis is a leadership position that requires a seasoned conference producer with management experience to oversee a team of conference producers and deliver engaging content for our events. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing conference production teams, creating content for conference campaigns, and ensuring timely delivery of agendas and supporting documents.
Key Responsibilities- Lead conference production teams to ensure key production milestones are met to a high standard.
- Develop content for conference campaigns through a research-led conference production process.
- Conduct regular meetings with the team to ensure campaigns are on track and to review work at key times.
- Ensure team members meet digital content requirements for each campaign, including webinars, blog posts, and speaker interviews.
- Deliver set documents to key event stakeholders as part of the overall conference production schedule.
- Cross-functional collaboration with sales and marketing on sponsorship and marketing deliverables.
- Liaison with the Operations team regarding onsite requirements for conference delivery.
- Upkeep and monitoring of key systems and infrastructure in support of conference campaigns.
- Support team members in preparation for onsite delivery and ensure all relevant documents are up to date.
- Contribute to the Campaign Brief process that sets out strategic objectives for each event.
- Collaborate with other head of department on strategic initiatives and process improvements.
- A minimum of 4+ years' successful experience producing conference/event content.
- Management/supervisory experience of 1+ years is preferable.
- Outstanding academic record – minimum 2:1 honours degree in economics, business studies, humanities, journalism, marketing or similar.
- Proven analytical ability and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-driven, resourceful, and determined to meet targets.
- Ability to work independently and communicate well with a wide range of people.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully dealing with clients and sponsors is desirable.
- Efficient, meticulous, and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Approachable, confident, and articulate.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel internationally.
- Knowledge of using data analytics tools is a bonus.
